Ergonomics Engineering Consultant

Humantech is the most stable and fastest growing ergonomics consulting firm in North America. With over 25 years of satisfied clients, we are experiencing consistent growth from our existing client base, while simultaneously adding an increasing number of new clients.

We currently have openings for Consultants based out of our corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a full-time position as a Humantech Ergonomist. Work in a team environment with over 40 other high performance professionals to deliver ergonomics assessments and training to companies seeking to rapidly improve their WMSD rates and costs while improving production performance and employee well-being.

The position will entail project-based assignments throughout North America and overseas, with travel requirements ranging from 50% to 70%. Compensation will be based on skills and experience, with outstanding benefits and career growth opportunities. Initial job duties will include:

  • Assessing office and industrial work using Humantech's proven analysis and solutions methods.
  • Working with our consulting and design team to develop detailed solutions to identified challenges.
  • Participating in the delivery of Humantech's highly regarded training programs.

The successful candidate will be willing to travel as projects require, and will have:

  • A degree related to ergonomics engineering (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum six months of related industrial work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent ergonomics problem-solving ability
  • Board Certification as an Associate Ergonomics Professional or AEP-eligible
