HUMANTECH ANNOUNCES STAFF PROMOTIONS AND EXPANSION WITHIN ITS ERGONOMICS CONSULTING TEAM

Ann Arbor, MICH — - Humantech, Inc., a leading workplace improvement firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Blake McGowan, CPE, to managing consultant, Heather Ritz, CPE, to senior consultant, and the addition of Miguel Gonzalez to its talented team of professionals.

In the role of managing consultant, Blake McGowan will be responsible for managing complex large-scale ergonomics processes including implementing ergonomics management systems, evaluating ergonomic risk, and deploying ergonomics training programs. Blake received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Science degree in Biomechanics from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. In addition, he received Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Certification from the University of Michigan. He also achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.

As a senior consultant Heather Ritz will deploy effective ergonomics initiatives, conduct high-impact training courses to internalize ergonomics as a process, and complete high-level ergonomic risk assessments. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Heather achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).

Miguel Gonzalez joins Humantech in the role of consultant and ergonomics engineer bringing experience in ergonomic risk assessments, bi-lingual ergonomics training, and workstation redesign. Prior to joining Humantech he worked as an ergonomics engineer for Lear Corporation and Ford Motor Company. Miguel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Science degree in Applied Human Performance from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
